Here is a brief view of some things that I have accomplished recently.

Problem:

Lack of patron energy on gaming floor.

Solution:

Add visual movement and audio stimulation. Create a new area with music videos, up tempo music, lighting and food/beverage offerings.

Result:

Noticeable increase in patron energy, uptick in coin in, increased F&B revenue. Positive patron feedback.

Problem:

Minimal sports betting offerings.

Solution:

Create immersive video and audio experience in new Sports Betting venue using exclusive licensed audio technology allowing patrons to listen anywhere in the casino sporting events.

Result:

Significant increasing in Sportsbook earnings, increase in Sports betting patrons, patrons switching from other area venues. Increase in coin in and Positive feedback from customers.

Problem:

Tribe wished that all Tribal business could share customer engagement. Had been wanting for years yet no low/no cost solution provided.

Solution:

Working with my team, engineered solution to inter-connect all Tribal businesses, securely, with no additional cost. This called for collaborating with Tribal IT and working together as a team.

Result:

Tribal business customer engagement increased driving growth in other Tribal businesses adding significantly to Tribal earnings and distributions.

Problem:

Cyber liability Insurance rates increasing dramatically year over year.

Solution: Review cyber security program and capabilities. Design and implement new training and monitoring processes, implement system health scanning and reporting.

Result:

Reduction in annual cyber liability insurance and overall cyber risk profile. Saving casino (and Tribe) considerably on annual insurance premiums and securing patron and financial information.

Problem:

IT cause of delays in business initiatives causing frustration and lost opportunities.

Solutions: Review and redesign IT project management processes, train project managers and implement a more structured project management and delivery mechanism including accountability.

Result:

Business initiatives with IT components completed on time or early. IT no longer a cause of frustration for the business enabling opportunity.

Problem:

Clients in the Asia market concerned about data privacy in China/Hong Kong as unrest increased.

Solution:

Identify new location for data that is outside of area of concern (Tokyo). Design, build and migrate to new modern systems from Hong Kong facility to new Tokyo facility. Completed in less than 6 months, during Covid lockdowns.

Result:

Major client retention (client value exceeding of $10M), new clients acquired, client data security increased. Positive feedback and referrals from clients.

Problem:

Lack of visibility into IT functions creating frustration and concern within business leaders.

Solution:

Raise level of maturity across IT by implementing ITSM (using ServiceNow) based on ITIL frameworks.

Result:

Well documented, measurable, repeatable processes, methods and reporting. Improved time to market on IT initiatives with reduced defects creating a more positive view of IT and understanding of the importance of technology.

Problem:

Business lacks any continuation or recovery executable plans.

Solution:

Partner with CISO to develop BC/DR capabilities.

Result:

Reduction in overall risk profile, reduction in cyber insurance annual costs and improved client relations and retention.
